I got accepted into the University of Technology and will be starting on August 23, 2021. When I was younger, I wish to better understand what dyslexia meant and how it affected learning. Being a JDA Youth Ambassador is an honour—I can now use my story to bring awareness to non-dyslexic Jamaicans and encourage young students who have dyslexia to understand and embrace being different.
